Train to Teach with the Cabot Learning Federation

April 21, 2017

Are you thinking about teaching? Maybe considering a career change?

Did you know you can complete training in schools to become a teacher?

In the Cabot Learning Federation we provide practical, hands-on teacher training delivered by experienced, practising teachers based in our partnership of schools.

The one year training programme with the Cabot Learning Federation starts with an intensive induction at the end of August so that our trainees are ready to be immersed in school life and part of our community of teachers right from the beginning of the new school year in September.

The Cabot Learning Federation is accredited as a School-Centred Initial Teacher Training provider (SCITT), which means we can offer post-graduate teacher training leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE and continuing support for you as a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT).

You can train to be a teacher if you have a degree and meet national eligibility criteria (GCSE grade Cs or above in English and Maths, and Science for Primary teaching). You can apply for a Student Loan for the course tuition fees and you may be eligible for a bursary of up to £25k while you train.

Why not teach and make a difference to local young people's opportunities and futures.
