Teacher of Spanish at City Academy (CLF Staff only)

Salary: M1 to M6, £22,467 to £32,835

Start Date: 1 September 2017


City Academy seeks a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish to teach across the 11-18 year age range.  You will join a team of teachers determined to make a difference to the achievements of young people. 

The successful candidate will raise the aspirations and achievements of all our students through delivering an outstanding educational experience.  This is an exciting opportunity to join City Academy, with the Academy on its journey from Special Measures to Outstanding and its reputation in the community is growing.  This post is open to staff within the CLF only.

City Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF).  The CLF is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West.  As part of the Cabot Learning Federation there are significant opportunities to connect and collaborate with our partner Academies as well as outstanding development opportunities.

In this role you will be a well qualified Teacher of Spanish, and will be required to teach to Key Stage 4, the ability to also teach Key Stage 5 would be advantageous.  You will also be a highly committed professional and also keen to create something unique and move beyond expectations in learning for life.  You will share a passion to deliver an outstanding student experience and have the ability to deliver outstanding results.  You will be an excellent communicator.  You will be innovative, creative and flexible in your approach to achieve the best results.
