From: 01/09/2017- 31/08/2018

Salary: M1-U3 £22,467 - £38,250 pa pro rata

Bath Community Academy is a co-ed Academy in Bath that opened in September 2012.

The Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation which has an excellent record for succession planning and providing many opportunities for professional development and the sharing of ideas.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate teacher of DT, with experience and creativity working with young people across the age and ability range.  A successful candidate would have the opportunity to determine the most appropriate and creative way to enthuse students with the vast potential afforded a subject with such a broad appeal.  Opportunities to explore the academy ethos around Respect, Friendship and Excellence should be taken at every opportunity in-keeping with the syllabus.

Applicants are expected to model an ethos of Respect, Friendship and Excellence and should demonstrate an understanding of the need for flexibility and adaptability in keeping with the academy improvement journey.
