Sports Assistant (casual)

Casual evening and weekend hours, all year round

CLF 4 (£14,470 – £16,131 pro rata) - £7.50 per hour

Hanham Woods Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF).  The CLF is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West.  The CLF currently sponsors 13 academies, seven of which are secondary, five are primary and one is a studio school catering for students aged 14-19.

Hanham Woods Academy is an oversubscribed engaging academy that aims to improve the opportunities for all our young people.  We have the highest expectations of our students to achieve academic excellence; to demonstrate positive behaviour for learning; to engage in leading others.  Students should leave the school with a passion for life-long learning and the skills and confidence to succeed in the 21st century.

We are seeking to appoint casual Sports Assistants to ensure the safety of all users of the Hanham Woods Academy facilities out of Academy hours and to erect and dismantle sports and related equipment. Monitoring of lettings and checking equipment is not damaged and put back properly is a key responsibility for this role. Hours will be split across evening and some weekend shifts.

The successful applicant will be reliable, self-motivated and have excellent customer service skills.
